Rubbing gently with Brasso and a soft cloth works wonders. Perfect for any plastic where light has to pass through like watch crystals and LCD screens.

Spread peanut butter on the DVD and wipe off with a coffee filter.

Get a CD doctor. It will get the scratches out. You can pick one up at a music store. There everywhere.

cd doctors do more harm than good in my opinion. use toothpaste (not gel) let dry, wipe off with soft cloth (clean t-shirt will do) in lines from center out
