A spouse can't give the other a divorce ...that is the job of a JUDGE. File for a divorce and you will get your divorce. You dont even need him to show up in court. Just get him served and thats all you need. The courts will do the rest. I got divorced after 7 years of marriage and he even lives out of state. I had him served and he of course never came to court. My divorce was final 3 months after filing.

What state do you live in ? Find out about divorce laws by getting an attorney. Get a restraining order so he'll have to stay away from you. Get you child out of this now, if you love your child.

File for divorce. He does not have to sign. After you to are legally separated for a period of time the divorce will go thru. See a lawyer and talk with him/her about a contested divorce.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE HELD HOSTAGE BY THIS PIG!!!!!!
Good luck!

He can contest the divorce, but that will not stop you from divorcing him. You'll have to get an attorney and fight him in court.

See what happens with time. Split up, and move on. I am sure that he will eventually, and when the time comes, he will let you get one. Also, look into an anullment? Can you do that without him? Or... You could always kill him (jk).
