The agenda, goals and lack of diplomacy of the Bush administration and the Project for the New American Century; the power of the neocons; the lack of bipartisanship in our country -meaning the fact that the Democrats and the Republicans now have the same agenda (and it's all about them individually - not about America).

America is the leader in the world. Others follow our lead. I know this sounds crazy, but the Cold War actually kept balance in the world. The tiff between Russia and America kept the other "rogue" nations in check. Russia kept it's allies in check because they knew they would suffer retaliation from America...and vice versa.

That balance no longer exists - and America has been left unchecked. The neocons fear that America will lose it's position as the global leader unless we proactively eliminate anyone that could be a threat to that position. Instead of looking at our position as a leader in a responsible way and setting the tone for diplomacy and doing what is right - we have become the aggressors - and set a tone of aggression across the globe.

Unless someone puts a stop to this - and I would love to know how to do that - it will lead to WW3. Russia and China are rising in power - and I do not think they will tolerate this much longer. Nothing good can come of what is happening today.

You may be watching them unfold right now--increasing terrorism in Afghanistan, coupled with increasing terrorism in Iraq, heightened tension and acts of war between Israel and Lebanon, Palestine; resurgence of the Taliban types in Pakistan and in SE Asia. GW Bush may well have uncorked the bottle to the genie called WWIII. Its just smoldering now but may well heat up if North Korea boils over. George wanted an Axis of Evil and now he seems well on his way to creating it. Perhaps George Dubya qualifies as the antichrist....chew on that you religious fundies.
