Hi! I'm an Audiologist.

Based on your question, all of the above suggestions, and a few other possibilities, could be the cause: ear wax (cerumen) build-up; swimmer's ear (external otitis); negative pressure behind the eardrum (Eustachian tube dysfunction); fluid or infection behind the eardrum (otitis media); or tempero-madibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction.

Since the best way to know is to have an expert examine you, I recommend consulting an Ear, Nose and Throat (otolaryngologist) specialist.

You probably just have fluid on your ear drum. If your ear hurts and you're running a fever, you might want to go get some ear drops from the doctor, but if you're not, they sell some drops over the counter to help prevent swimmers ear, I forget what they're called off hand.

If it's actually coming more from the haw area right beneath your ear, it is probably TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disease). It's a condition that can lead to many other problems down the road. Go to the doctor and have him check it out. If he can't manage it medically, you may have to see an orthodontist...and that could lead to surgery if it's severe.

No, go to the docto and have it checked out..You could have an infection and those can severely damage your hearing...or you can simply have water stuck in your air lol...stomp your foot on the ground and shake your head ..lol get it out..that can mess with your hearing too..good luck!
