Question

Could someone please give me a summary as to the conflict in the middle east with regards to Palestine Israel etc.
This is an area I would like to know more about

Check out www.factsandlogic.org. For years they have been researching and publishing the history of the conflict. They have a view which appears to favor Israel, but from what I know of their facts, they are on the money. On the other hand, Al-Jazeera does a pretty good job for the other side.

Very complicated - I suggest using a search engine to investigate further. Not many Jews were in the area apparently before the Zionist movement (early 20th century), but according to the Israelis, not a lot of Arabs were there either. So both sides think the others don't have much right to be there. And I think Britain promised the Palestinian Arabs a state as well as the Jews, but after the holocaust their needs were seen as less important. So when the state of Israel was brought into existence the surrounding Arab states got rather angry and went to war. And Israel won, and still occupies (illegally to the rest of the world) the Gaza strip, and the West Bank and bits of Syria. Naturally the Palestinians living there have fought against this, but Israel, having a proper army and better weapons tends to hit them back harder. The recent plans for building of a wall surrounding Jewish settlements has been seen as a land grab by the Palestinians, and the Israeli government has recently withdrawn Jewish settlers from the Gaza strip (which it had less good reason for occupying).

after the world war Jews where sent to Palestine, which got conquered and Israel grew and became powerful. and as the cliche says the more u get the more u want. Israel has been killing families and conquering more land of Palestine and Lebanon Egypt and parts of Syria too. but what is happing now...
Israel has sent some troops across the Lebanese border and Hezbollah (the head of a labanese militia) captured two iraeli troops and israel has become mad and they did not get to a compromise so israel now is sending missiles at lebenn, destroyed a couple of airport runways, hit the fuel storage of the airports and hit AL Manar's broadcast station . and ma ny civilia n buildings.

with palitine it is an even more complicated story. palistine has been with war with israel for ages. palistinians have been pushed of their farms chilren and wo men and old men have been killed forced out of their lands. so on an attack palistine has caputed two israeili troops, israel got mad again and kidnapped palstinian ministrs or something, people known world wide. very co mpil cated

This is a problem which has been purposely created by US,Britain and other Western countries.They collected Jews form their countries and put them in Palestine and told them that this was their country.The West made them so powerful that they beating natives everyday and grabbing more land.One gets surprised to see the logic of BBs.A typical story of ,Might is Right.

If you want a good answer, you should probably do your own research (i.e., CNN or other news reports)...everything you find will be biased, especially answers from on here. News reports will be as well, but at least you stand more of a chance of gathering more facts rather than other viewers' opinions based off the facts they've heard and often misconstrued.
