10-15 years. Some breeds living slightly longer, some shorter. For instance, Irish Wolfhounds only have a life expectancy of 8 years. Typically, the smaller the breed, the longer the lifespan. If you had to pick an average age, it'd be around 12.

Depends on the size of the dog and the health of the dog. Small breeds that are taken care of can live 15-20 years. Large dogs have a higher stress on the heart and a dogs like Irish Wolfhounds & Great Danes have an estimated life span of 7 years.

It depends on the breed. Large dogs have a shorter life expectancy due to stress on the heart, joint problems and dangers of a flipped stomach.
Small dogs tend to have a longer life span.
Mixed breeds tend to live longer and be healthier than pure bred dogs due to the inbreeding that is necessary to get pure bred traits to show.
So, on average, a dog can live anywhere from 8 years to 17 years. Usually 10-14 is more common.

Depends on the dog...around 12 years would be average. Small breeds tend to live longer than large breeds. I'm not sure the longest a dog has ever lived...maybe 30 years or so.

As with most mammals, size is important. Small dogs tend to live shorter than big dogs. I'd put them all in the 8-15 year range for normal life span.

you can get an average - like 13 years or so, or you can get some better info on longevity by being breed specific.
My vet tells me that the longest lived dog ( so far) was a poodle at 21 years.
In the 60s, 10 years old was considered a long-lived dog.

One dog's year is considered to be equal to 7 human's years - some few dogs get to 18, but that's a rare thing.
