Lets say I want to view an online web page, but I want to make sure that it does not contain adware or spyware before I go to it.

Is there a way to do that???

There is no way tell in advance.

If you have the newer version of Anti-virus software (I know the newest version of Norton Anti-virus has this feature), the anti-virus software will detect it right away and let you know when a site is attempting to put adware or spyware in your computer.

To my knowledge there is no way to check other than to just know. There are programs like Spybot: Search and Destroy's Tea Timer program that will actually block sites that are known to contain spyware, and thus prevent infection.

Mcafee has a sitechecker that is an add-on to your current web browser that reports sites that you can trust and some you probably should not.
