yea, 15 weeks is early, but sometimes they can tell. I was told at 16 wks that its a boy, and now at 37 wks, they still say boy. I had a 3d ultrasound, just to be 100% positive. You can have a 3d ultrasound, to be 100% sure, or there is also a test you can have done where they suck out amniotic fluid thru a needle into your bellybutton... that will tell you for 100% sure as well.

First of all 15 weeks is too early to tell the sex of a baby, you have to be at least 18 weeks to tell. If they say it a girl now you should probably go with that because by now they can check the anatomy of the baby. Hope you didnt buy blue.....Good Luck!!

Yes, it isnt as easy as it looks to decipher a sonogram.I didnt realize how hard it was until I took an ultrasound course.Ultrasound waves produce a picture by sound waves bouncing off of objects in your body. They probally saw the umbilical cord in an area that made it look like the babys penis. It is normal for them to be wrong,in fact the early the harder to tell.

that is a complicated one. once you bypass into your next appointment as your clinical professional to grant you yet another ultrasound and to be precise on the sex this time. because, in the adventure that your informed its a boy, and also you commence finding out to purchase boy products then the subsequent time round he tells you that is a boy, its going to get slightly stressful for you. yet strong success on it. i'm in ordinary words 10 weeks alongside, with my second being pregnant and that i had the same problems with my first one. besides, Congrats.

They usually do an ultrasound at 20 weeks to determine this. Perhaps you weren't far enough along to tell. Five weeks in fetal development can make a huge difference!

Yes, it can be right. Determining gender of a fetus through ultrasound isn't anywhere near perfect. In fact, your baby can be born with a penis after all. Surprise!

Either of the determinations could be incorrect.

well, at 15 weeks, a baby;s sex organs are not even developed so I am concerned as to why your doc would have told you that. If they say it's a girl, i'd believe it's a girl
