well, here is my answer... if you believe God created everything then you understand man is designed to be with woman...however, I believe just as there are children born with birth defects, people are born with "wires crossed" you may or may not know everyone is female in the womb for a good bit of the begining stages of development, which is why men have nipples. If you notice a womans clit is strangely similiar to a mans penis, hhm?, and the skin on the outside of a woman vaginia strangely has a similiar texture to a mans scrotum, again hhhm? With that just being some of the obvious similarities it is not, to me, to far a stretch to believe that some wires might get crossed during development, which would explain why some woman are "manly" and some men are "feminine" but "straight" in their respective sexual desires... or on the other hand why some men feel they are truely woman and vice versa with woman feeling they are men (or should have been).... a few crossed wires and the body appears male but the mind is female, or body female and the mind male.... Then you have the people who, I believe, were born "normal" meaning, they are attracted to the opposite sex....but then something goes wrong during their childhood....example; again my opinion, poll the "gay " community and if you get an honest answer, you will find that a majority of gay people were sexually abused as a child, which then creates a "re-wireing" causing the confusion, and opening an avenue for people who say they are "bi" Their body and brain are working as designed for the most part but then the trauma or re-wiring...just like a bad electrician, you screw up the wires and the machine doesnt work quite right....the other percentage I would say had some sort of trauma related to being touched as a child by someone somehow.....the last percentage...would be that in todays society, it has become the "in" thing which just like anything else if its "in" or "cool" people are going to do it....well there is my take on it.....

Homosexuality is perfectly normal - almost every mammalian species on earth demonstrates homosexual behavior.

Homosexuality may not lead to procreation (which is what people mean when they say it's 'not natural'), but it has long been used in the animal kingdom to provide security for a society, by providing care givers who are not interested in reproducing (because all of their effort goes into providing resources, rather than taking them to have children).

There are also many scientific studies demonstrating that genetic changes take place IN THE WOMB that give rise to homosexuality, and that the mother's genes are responsible for these changes.

Homosexuality (almost) never has anything to do with fear of women, although I can't discount that as a reason for some men.

As for the moron "rkrmw", who gave the first answer here, the reason "nobody was gay" in the 60's is because nobody talked about it. If you admitted you were gay anytime prior to approximately 1980, you would very likely wake up dead the next day.

In response to Rkrmw's post. Are you serious? There have been recorded instances of Homosexuality for almost all of recorded history. The reason why we didn't hear about it before the '60s (in America at least) is because no one talked about it. I remember reading somewhere (can't find a link) about how scientist have isolated a common gene in Homosexuals. It most definately isn't a "Liberal Invention" it's just how they are and I really don't understand why Heterosexuals freak out about it so much. Just let people be who they are.

Gay men, for the most part, are born that way, as well as gay girls. I have also heard that, they become gay as a result of their invironment and a predispsition to go either way.
Gay men make great friends for women. They don't want anything but friendship and for the most part, they are a lot of fun.

Genetics + Environment
They have the gene from their parents or grandparents.
They have the exposure of lifestyles that would possibly accentuate the behavior and usually a domineering mother and either an absent father or a sub-dominate permissive father.

Let me ask YOU something. Why do people become white? Are the scared to talk to asians or are they scared to see black people or are they scared of being around Middle Easterners? What is YOUR answer and what do you think. Explain in details.

Give it some thought, and you'll have your answer.

Look, if you really ask any man whether they are gay, they will tell you "no". Think about it, until the 1960s, how many gay people did you read about? None. Why is that? Because there weren't any gay people.

Then, with the invention of liberalism, they said, "Let's have some gay people."

Remember, gayness is one step away from looking fondly on your pet.

Beacuse they are attracted to men and not women. Some men are gay for the same reason that you are not. Just because.

Most men who are homosexual dislike women if they would be truthful to themselves and everyone else. Females dislike men. Some intently hate the opposite sex.
