She thinks I should incorpate THAT story in the speech as it will bring things out in the open. I'm not so sure though. What do you think?

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Everyone knows the proper etiquette is to give him an amateur videotape of you and his Mom as a wedding present.

Bringing that up at the wedding reception is not the time nor the place. Personally, I don't think it's right that you're sleeping with his mother, but is your choice as well as hers...... whether or not you tell them ever is also up to both of you, but in the best man's speech is NOT the time at all.

A wedding is not the time to tell you friend you are sleeping with his mother. There has to be a better time. And try not to get too drunk because the truth always comes out after a couple beers.

No thats tacky. If you want to tell them wait until after they return from their honeymoon. This is their day don't mess it up by letting his mother try to take the center of attention away from the happy couple. That would also be a good way to lose a friend.

You might question WHY you're sleeping with a woman who is so thoughtless about her son's special occasion. There are other times to bring it out in the open without hurting anyone else. You need to get rid of her. She has serious issues.

No, don't mention that in the speech. It's the couple happy day, not yours. But when you friend gets back from his honeymoon, tell him about your relationship with his mother. Good luck with that one. By the way, you know you are crazy, right.

I don't think bringing that up at the wedding is a good idea. I also recommend not drinking at the reception in case you let some info slip. Good luck!!

Wait until after the honeymoon. Nobody wants a fight at their wedding. Let the happy couple have a good time at their wedding. All hell will break loose when they return and you spill the beans.

Do we presume the you are his mother's husband and the groom's father? Or are we to make some other assumption. You do get some weird questions on YAHOO and I don't want to give you duff advice based on wrong assumptions or my fans will think I've defected to the Americans.

put it this way, how would you feel if your best friend was sleeping with your mum., say it, an see how fast you lose all respect from every friend you have there, how can you call yourself the best man an be doing that, i thought friends don't lie to each other, an that's what you re doing.keep that one under your hat, it sounds as sleazy as it is. with friends like you, who needs enemies!
