I've known this guy for about 8 years and we grew up together. We were great friends and then one day about a year ago we were just hanging out. He really freaked me out cuz he hinted at liking me. He had done this before, but then we stopped hanging out. We got busy. We were both doing our own thing. I found out he has a girlfriend and a bunch of other friends. It's like well he has time for them but he doesn't have enough time to come talk to me and be my friend anymore. Also, he has become a person that I may not value as a friend. He has become very dishonest and he lies to his mom all the time. I don't want that to rub off on me. Should I keep my distance? And is he a jerk that's just too busy to be my friend anymore?

It's obvious that he is cooling the relationship with you. Forget him and look for other fish in the sea....he is not a keeper.
