Tancredo

Btw, democrats who picked McCain be careful. I used to believe that too then did some research on him. Bush actually matches me more than he does. He is a lot more far right that he comes across.

I am a republican and of all the democrats I like Joe lieberman the best as he seems to be more of an independent thinker and not just going with everything his party does.

As a republican, if I had to choose a democratic leader it would be Joe Lieberman. He's probably the only politician I've heard of that was brave enough to risk re-election to stand for something he believes in.

I'm republican...a decent democratic president would be - well...no one who currently has a seat - most ones with power now are no good, but i do know plenty of local good democrats who don't have power. Does power completely mess them up?

Well
John Edwards
He's from the South
He is not a Clinton crony
He has enough baggage to be controlled by it
or McCain
He really seems like a democrat more and more

You know I really don't care. I just know that if I didn't like the president & his policies - I would complain about them and then vote to remove him. I would not try to handcuff the president in a time of war just because I didn't agree with his or the administrations tactics unlike the current liberals & democraps today.

If I had to have a Republican President, it would John McCain or Colin Powell. I think they have potential "uniting" capabilities.
