I was told once that the Prime Minister was a dragon. When I grew up I discovered it was Maggie Thatcher. There are loads of dragons in Wales. They even have them on flags. Someday if I go there I'll find out for you if they are real. Also didn't Frodo come across a dragon in the Lord of the Rings or is that fiction. One thing for sure the KOMODO is not a dragon. It's a lizard.

Myth. but there are a lot of big lizards in different parts of the world. But what would be the difference between a dragon and a dinosaur?

If you meant fire breathing and all that, then myth. Same for the Chinese type dragons that were part cat.

Dinosaurs and dragons look alike. The myth was probably born by finding dinosaurus bones. The damsell in distress was also a myth. Her bones can be found in the British Museum.

IN the bible dragons are referred to. It is thought that they used the word dragon to refer to dinosaurs from before that time. Who knows, maybe some dinosaurs looked like fictional dragons, but they probably did not shoot fire out of their mouths.
