Back around 1992 I worked at a warehouse in Shipping and Receiving. I remember the head guy, (heavy smoker) had a "Shoe" comic cut out in which the main character was smoking a cigar with the caption (if memory serves me correctly) "The stinkin helps my thinkin." I have been searching for this specific strip with absolutely no luck. Any help would be great.

Its still a current strip. Google the writer and I can almost guarentee he has a web site w/ contact info. I've done the same with several comic strips and usually, they will either e-mail you a copy or give you info on how to purchase one.
