I have suffered from depression for years. I also had the same symptoms as you are experiencing now. My Doctor had to try many different antidepressants before we found the correct dosages. Don't be afraid to ask for a new medication or to increase what you are on, This is common. DO NOT starve yourself and drink only water for 20 days. That is just plain nutty, lol. It takes some time to get the meds right and to feel better. Don't give up. Also try to get into a Womens Therapy Group. You will see that you are not alone with these symptoms. I enjoy my group very much and have learned so much from these other women. Good Luck!

Go exercise, walk at the park, eat healthy foods and try to have some fun. After all that take a long warm bubble bath with therapy candles to give you light and help set a relaxed mood.

Try a different Dr. I couldn't wait to get off those anti-depression meds...they made me worse. Get out and walk a couple miles daily...do something outside of your home, join some sports, go to bingo, do whatever you are able but get busy.......and get another Dr's advise.
When you take to many drugs it can affect your memory and ability to focus......Dr's just like to prescribe and see the next patient.....

Well, there is this new "disease" called "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome".
How old are you?
You might have feminine hormonal imbalance. See your Oby-Gyny.
I'm 56 and have an opposite, male problem--too much androgen. they can give me androgen suppressor pills, or do a voluntary orchiectomy--castration.
