There is no "dark side" of the moon...at least not a permanenetly dark side. A "day" on the moon is about 28 of our days...so the dark of night is about 14 days.

What you meant was the "far side" of the moon (the side we never see from Earth)...and, no, no people have ever landed their spacecraft there. I don't think we've even landed robotic spacecraft there.

However, the far side has been mapped and photographed...there are no aliens there. At least, not unless you want to believe the kooks out there who say there are.

There is no "dark side" in the sense you mean.
There is an away side (or farside) and it looks a bit like the face of the Star Wars (C) Deathstar (TM) and yes, we have seen it and photographed it.
The dark side moves around the moon about once a month, and you can sometimes see it for yourself when it is illuminated by earthshine.

It is far more likely that the Aliens are stationed inside Iapetus.

we havnt actually visited the dark side ,i mean been there, BUT, we sure as hell have flown over many, im talking lots of many times. in all the APOLO missinsit was either the three astronaughts or just the one, when the others were on the moon. so we also would not have left any junk on that side either. Also we never see the side of the moon which is "the dark side".
Hope that helps. Tony.

people have orbited around the moon and taken pictures of it but no one has landed on the dark side of the moon.

Astronauts, and satellites, have flown around it. No one has ever landed there. But it's been pretty well photographed and mapped.

I dunno, but I've got an invitation from Pink Floyd to meet up there someday.

Um yeah, what that guy said. We've been all around the moon.
