That's pretty good, kiddo :).
But I think some people have the wrong idea about what an IQ test measures. It doesn't measure how smart or intelligent you are. It measures how well you learn. "Genius" IQ level is 140 or above. At 125, this means you're very bright, you have a strong ability to retain (remember), comprehend (understand) and extrapolate (draw your own conclusions from given information).
At 125, it means you have no excuse not to do well in school ;). You're probably pretty socially comfortable, and you express yourself well. You probably read for fun. You should plan on going to college. You are of above average intelligence and you should do your best to challenge yourself academically.
You can compete with the brains. You learn easily and thoroughly. Now that you know your IQ (my parents refused to tell me mine until I was an adult), it's your responsibility to make the most of your abilities.
The world is waiting. Go get 'em, Tiger :)

chichic,
Don't let the negative or the would-be-wise-guys' answers get to you. You have a superior IQ if you've taken a reliable test. However, the test should have included a wide range of material and testing ideas. Was that the case? Also, remember that no test accurately indicates one's knowledge or ability. This holds true for IQ tests. All tests are relative to the design parameters and the test maker's perspectives. An example is one where, actually, an ape, gorilla or chimpanzee, was given a test to find out its IQ. Among other questions, it missed one where in a picture showing a lion and a tree and a house, the ape was asked to show the safest place to hide from the lion. The tester was using signing for the test. The ape pointed to the tree and the answer was scored wrong because the answer was supposed to be the house, according to the designer's psychology. However, he/she didn't take into account the hundreds of thousands of years of environmental programming inherent in the ape. The ape chose the tree as its natural refuge instead of the house, man's natural refuge.
So think of this one test as an indication of your possible intellectual ability and don't get hung up on it. Also, don't get hung up on those answers here that are meant to put you down and make the writers feel cool or superior. You've got a good and functioning brain, and what you do with it is up to you.
One last note: research has shown that a person's IQ can increase as one ages and learns. Primarily, IQ has to do with problem solving in the strictest sense of testing and research. Experience can teach new ways to solve problems as well as giving one the knowledge necessary for the same. Also, IQ tests are good for that test only, for that day only, and the time at which you take the test only.
Use your head. You probably have a good one and you shouldn't waste it.

Sure, its a little above average. A person's IQ does not go up or down much as they get older. You don't get a better IQ by assimilating more information. IQ tests your ability to think and learn.
By the way, most geniuses can't match thier socks, hold a normal conversation, or remember to look both ways to cross the street.

IQ is relative to ones age. Your age doesn't matter.
For everyone saying it's not 125 they obviously have no idea what they are talking about. This number is within normal range. Take a series of 3 different tests to get a more accurate reading but do not take them back to back. Your brain needs time to rest in between.

You know what? Your IQ really doesn't change. If it's 125 now, it'll be 125 in ten years and it'll be 125 in 20 years. You're pretty smart, but not a genius.
Mine is 123.

It really depends on what type of intelligence testing you did. Most traditional types of tests deal with problem solving and math-based questions. According to traditional tests, your result would be high, indicating high intelligence. However, in recent years, a number of theorists have argued that standard intelligence tests measure only a portion of the human abilities that could be considered aspects of intelligence. It could just reflect good reasoning skills or math skills. For more check out http://www.iqtest.com/whatisaniqscore.html
