Possibly. Possibly also a sick form of vengeance. Make someone else pay for what was done to them.

Idiotic people who think they can justify their wrong disgusting behavior. When in fact all they are, are just sick perverts with issues that may be resolved if they choose to try.
I was sexually assaulted as a child and I have NO tendencies to assault children. What happened to me was wrong and I would not ever want to put a child through that. In fact, if anything, the experience has made me more protective of children.
I think all sex offenders should be castrated. I'd vote for that in a heartbeat!

The answer is slightly more complicated. When sex offenders are abused they are unable to develop the proper psychological health that most of us take for granted. For example, they do not learn the proper ways to develop appropriate relationships (attachment) with others and try to achieve this with inappropriate means (e.g., rape). This is, in no way, an excuse for them, as many people who are abused don't end up hurting people, but it is part of the explanation.

Sex offenders rape children because they enjoy hurting people. They choose children because they are deeply frightened of being murdered by someone like me, if they get caught.
The proper response to this, of course, is execution. Or if you don't have the stones for that, life in prison without the possibility of parole.

It's all just a B.S. excuse. It was done to me and I would never harm a child. Anyone who hurts children physically, sexually, or otherwise should receive no mercy no mater there excuse.

they don't think it's ok. They usually have mental problems that make them believe that it's ok because it was done to them.

I believe that child molesters/rapist do what is familiar to them. I don't think that they even realize why they do what they do.
