I have time for either Jewel Cave Nat. Monument or Wind Cave Nat. Park. Which is better for a half day visit?

Wind cave tours are about 2 hours maybe. Tops.
I went and thought it was fantastic. It has very rare formations....so I say do the wind cave. I hope you are planning on spending the rest of the day at the badlands which is nearby. A lot of cool stuff in that area. I have prob. been there about 5 times and I still love it.

I've been to both, but it's been many years ago. Wind Cave, if I remember, really impressed me more of the two. So I checked them out on-line. This photo of the boxwork formations makes me want to jump a plane right now! Luck you. Have fun.
