With the ram it is probably DDR 400 but make sure you buy all the same speed cause if you have mismatched it will operate at the slowest speed of the slowest ram. Latency is anjother important thing in ram the best is 2 2 2 6 for DDR again if you have mismatched ram it will operate at the highest latency. For a gaming machine you need a fast hdd the western digital Raptor is the best, some people RAID but that is overkill, just make sure you have enough cooling

yeah, DON"T ADD NON-SYMMETRICAL RAM!!!!!!

Make sure all the sticks are from the same brand and capacity (and best to even be the same series)

RAM operates at "latency timmings" 5-5-5-12 is common, and also at certain speeds (your Front Side Bus speed) around 800MHz. If every stick isn't the same it really throughs off your processor, and NorthBridge (or is it the SouthBridge, Hmmmm..)

Oh, yeah ATI is better, Mwaahhaaahhhaaa

The video card is fine. It's not PCI it's PCI Express which is better than AGP.

no guarantee your 768 MB will be compatible with the mother board. What is the speed of the hard drive?
