At my baby shower we made these cute little lifesaver pacifiers for people to take home. You just take 1 full lifesaver and cut another one in half. Make some frosting that hardens and use it as a glue to glue together a half of a jelly bean onto the top of the whole lifesaver, and the half of the lifesaver to the bottom of the whole one. It looks just like a pacifier. Then if you want you can tie a ribbon around it with a paper of the date of the baby shower and who it was for. Everybody loved these.

i love going to baby showers and oohing and ahhing over the preggo woman and showing off my own kids and what not. i don't go to expect favors. now if you are talking about little rewards for winning a game, go to the dollar store or wherever and pick up some cute frames, that way the winner will have some place to put a picture of the baby once it is here!! or something along those lines. but try to avoid getting something that they will take home and throw away!!

I've hosted 2 showers over the past 2 years and have lots of ideas--a votive candle with a little personalized sticker and a blue, pink, or yellow ribbon, cookies in a little cello baggie, packets of seeds with personalized stickers, lifesavers and jelly bean "pacifiers", pea in a pod candy--put jelly beans or small round candy into green tissue paper and wrap like a pea pod--this also make a good game with little balls like pompoms and whoever gets a certain number or a different colored one wins! I could go on and on but I must say something useful would be great-like the votive candle or something like that. Good luck with the shower!

Maybe special cookies that were packaged for guests to take with them? Like in the shape of a heart? Or little picture frames?

Try some small, inexpensive chocolates in a napkin shaped and taped up like a diaper. Really cute and funny too.

Maybe a coupon entitling each person to one babysitting experience once the baby is born?
You might get a lot of babysitters out of it if you offer coupons to each to "allow" them the "privilege" of babysitting. Kinda of like a humorous twist.

I went to a shower once and we all got Ring Pops. We all looked like we were sucking on pacifiers.

Something edible, like chocolate or mints. That is something people can use (eat) and not just have sitting around their house for the next year.
