Hysterectomy is removal of the uterus. No uterus, no period. No pun intended. Keeping your ovaries doesn't mean you'll still have a period, it just means you'll still keep producing natural hormones and won't need HRT.

If, your uterus is removed you don't bleed any longer.
Some women keep their ovaries, thus not requiring hormone replacement.

no, you dont. And you cant have any more children, and should take estrigen supplements because your body is not producing as much.
