I know a lot about Israel.

The state of Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate, desert and swamp, with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads. The inhabitants considered themselves mostly Syrian. The Balfour Declaration issued by the British, who were given the mandate over the area by the League of Nations. Jews have lived in the country since Biblical times. The Arabs from the surrounding areas were lured to "Palestine" by the industry and prosperity that the Jews brought to the region. Envy, hatred and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews. In 1947, under pressure, the British resigned their mandate. The same year, the United Nations mandated partioning of the territory. The Jews, though disappointed, accepted the partition. The Arabs rejected it and launched war against Israel. The armies of five Arab countries invaded. Following the exhortations of the invaders, the Arab residents got out of the way hoping to return after victory was attained. They could then reclaim their property and that of the Jews, all of whom would have been killed or would have fled. Israel won. That and that alone is the source of the Palastinian "refugees". Had the Arabs accepted the UN partition plan, there would now have been a state of "Palestine" for the last 58 years. The might have attained a similar level of prosperity, advancement and development as Israel. 50% of Israel's population now includes refugees from Morocco, Algeria, Iraq and Yemen. All were accepted by Israel with open arms and have become successful members of their society. The Palestinians refused to integrate these refugees into their population and instead confined them to "refugee camps". The ones there are now fourth generation and through no fault of Israel.

The State of Israel was created by the U.N. after world war II, in 1947. Prior to this moment in history the territory was a British holding known as Palestine (look at any map pre 1947). Since its inception, Israel has been attacked by several of its neighbouring nations. Although some have argued that Israel has the right to exist, still others believe it was created to placate world guilt over the Holocaust. What the truth is, is not for me to say, but I must confess I have become so disinterested in the conflict that I frankly could care less if the entire middle east imploded. It just goes on and on, no end in sight. There comes a point when you just throw up your hands and say go at it kids, I am past that point, if they destroy each other will anyone really care or will the world simply be relieved? I know that may sound harsh but it is the way many feel.

Palestine was a name invented by the Romans for that region, and adopted by the British after WWI when they took over the area from the Ottoman Turks.
Israel was formed out of the Partition agreement done by the U.N. after WWII, which the Jews agreed to but many Arabs did not.
After the British withdrew, many Arabs invaded Israel, trying to "drive the Jews into the sea." The West Bank and the Gaza strip were mainly "Palestinian" areas, however, and were taken away from the Palestinians by their fellow Arabs. The Israelis later took these areas from Jordan and Egypt in later wars, and are now giving them back to the "Palestinian Arabs."
The war is non stopping because there is historical hatred between Jews and Muslims dating back to the 600s. Mohammed actually commited the first Islamic massacre against Jews after the war between Mecca and Medina when he accused a Jewish tribe of helping the Meccans who were, at that time, his enemies.
Muslims feel that Jews userped their land, even though the Jews lived their long before Arabs did. That area did not have Arabs in it until the 600s, after Mohammed died. Also, Mohammed supposedly went to heaven from the Jewish Temple Mount.
There is one other reason I can think of off the top of my head for the ongoing hatred. Durring the first Arab-Israeli war, a group of Jewish extremists killed many Arab civilians at a town called Deir Yasin. This is still a thing that incites hatred of Jews by arabs, although the Arabs commited many more attrocities durring that war too.

I think most of it has to do with the fact that Isreal is a Jewish state surrounded by a bunch of Muslim states. Not to be racist, but it's like being a black guy living in a completely white country. The black guy (Israel), has enough military to keep the white guys at bay.

I could be absolutely wrong here, but I'm pretty sure Isreal was established for the Jews after WWII.

Since Israel was created, many countries like Palestine lost land (like the Gaza strip that you hear them fighting about all the time).

Since the land belonged to Palestine first, they feel that they are entitled to it. Israel feels differently, and Israel is backed by countries like the USA (That's how they get away with bombing places without getting in trouble.)

It all comes down the the cold hard fact that nobody wants a Jew in their neighbourhood (just kidding, but there is some truth to that). :D

"Palestine" is a Latin corruption of the word Philistine. The Romans renamed Judea and Galilee "Palestine" after the Diaspora of AD 63 to discourage Jews from returning to their homeland. The Philistines controlled a small coastal strip similar to the area of the Gaza strip today. However, it is believed that the Israelites wiped out the Philistines. The "Palestine" most people refer to today is a fictional creation that never did and does not really exist. The people who claim to be "Palestinians" called themselves Jordanians or Trans-Jordanians before 1948 and made up their "Palestinian" heritage as a way of defying the creation of the Israeli state.

There are a number of reasons for the no-stop war with the Israelis. The main reasons are that Israel represents a western style nation in the middle of the Arab world, as Jews, Israelis represent a heretical religion in the midst of the Dar al Islam and thus must be destroyed. Furthermore, Arabs who claim descent from Ishmael, believe they have been robbed of their birthright by the Jews who claim descent from his younger, half brother, Isaac, who was the legitimate offspring of Abraham and Sarah (Ishmael was the illegitimate son of Abraham and his servant, Hagar), thus receiving the blessings that God promised Abraham and his heirs in perpetuity. Arabs believe that the only way to win it back is to get rid of (kill) the descendants of Isaac.

Satan has known for thousands of years that Messiah would come from Israel. And since he knew from the Covenants
God made with Abraham, Issac, and Jacob(Israel), he's been
on the war path ever since.

If you look in a world atlas, you will see that there is no such
place as Palestine. The Romans called Israel, Palestine because
they didn't like the Jews worshiping just one God, and they
wanted to destroy the Jewish Religion.

The hostilities started with Esau and Jacob thousands of
years ago, and will never stop until Jesus comes.

I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!

Palestine was British Colony (or something like that) at the end of WWII they decided the jews would be better off in there own land so they sectioned off part of palestine and called it Israel. Just the name itself has very provocative implication so needless to say the people had been living on that land all the years previous to that were upset. They went to war. U.S. gave Israel some nifty state of the art planes and Tanks and Israel kicked azz. And took over even more land in the process. Including land in parts of Lebanon and Syria. So that is why Arab countries hate Israel because they are occupiers. They hate us because we have been supporting Israel.

The way I understand it and I might be wrong, but the Jewish people were given Israel. Something to do with WWII. The Arabs didn't like that they had to give up part of their land and they couldn't decide what to give up and what to keep. It all boils down to territory. Israel and Palestine will keep fighting over it for years.

Palestine is actually broken up into two parts. The West Bank is on the west side of the Dead Sea and the Gaza Strip is on the other side of Israel and it borders Egypt.
