I have an ATI Radeon 9500 graphics card
I want to upgrade my motherboard and processor using this package (see link for morre detail on it)

Are the two compatable? Is one PCI and the other APG?
Could really use some help on this!

Yeah, without the link it's hard to see what you're thinking of but never the less if you're considering an upgrade at the moment I'd strongly recommend that you save the extra pennies and get a new graphics card on a PCI-E slot. AGP is going the way of the Dodo and you'll be spending money on already redundant hardware, you can pick up PCI-E cards equivalent to the 9550 for ~£30 and then your mobo is set to support newer kit for the next couple of years.

You'll have to provide more information on the motherboard for me to give a definite answer. But the following is general:

The ATI Radeon 9500 requires an AGP slot on the motherboard and is compatible with any motherboard that has an AGP slot. It can use 8X/4X/2X so any AGB slot will suffice. The processor doesn't matter. Just make sure your processor and motherboard match up and your motherboard has at least one AGB slot available. If so, you're good to go.

If your 9500 is AGP, get a mobo with advertised AGP4x/8x. If it's PCI, you can put it on any motherboard with PCI slots, as most newer motherboards with PCi-x still have traditional PCI slots. Good luck!
