Jealous???HAHAHA... I don't think anybody is jealous of a hapless, boring, unentertaining, dull, overly defensive Italian team. Maybe if the 1990 Italian team won people would say they deserved it. However, this team wasn't all that great. I think Germany was more deserving of the cup in the end. Besides, the only ones that are really happy are the Italians (normal) and all those who hate the French. I think true football aficionados who have seen the likes of Maradona, Pele, Beckenbauer, Romario,etc. play, are very disappointed to see the cup go to such an unattractive offense (nearly non-existant). If defensive football is the future, the world cup will die soon enough...

All i say is congratualations to Italy as thay won with grace in the end although Materazzi did spoil the game and Zidanes career, it has been a great championship although there have been dissapointing results with some of the teams: England, Brazil and Argentina should have done better but some of the matches were just amazing! Great championship!

I am so happy they won. They totally deserved it . Francesco Totti is so hot! (not the point but i dont care) well they did a great job! i was hoping it was Portugal and Italy but Italy did so well. Gianluigi Buffon is the best goalie in the world! if it wasnt for him italy would of probably! go Buffon. i think Zidane should of not hit Materazzi. that was messed up. and even if Materazzi did insult his mom or whatever.. Zidane should of not reacted that way. Plus its not the first time Zidane gets a red card for hurting a player. 5 years ago he did the same thing to this player in the Saudi Arabian team. I LOVE ITALIA!

Yes, I'm happy with anyone who wins the championship, but you have to agree French and Germans are really good too.

no no no i am really sad and depressed
my fave teams were : germany portugal spain and england
france eliminated Portugal and Spain.
italy eliminated germany
thats why\i never wanted france and italy to reach the final i wanted portugal and germany and who ever won i would be happy....however if i had to choose between italy and france i would choose france because i loove zizou and theirry henry...
and i woulld never choose italy bcoz they are all so misbehaved

what a stupid question... french aren't (they gained 8 years ago)... Germans are not happy... Italians are happy, who hate french is happy and who hate Italy is not....
I'm happy, Italy deserve it, and this year happened so mach bad things in Italy about soccer and his bosses that players just needed to win to demonstrate they are real champions...

Yes, I'm happy. But I was sad, I missed Nesta. Cannavaro had a lot of work. Nesta and Cannavaro are a Dream team!

italians played only two good teams and only really outplayed one of them; germany. France had viera, zidane, henry, and ribery out for the penatlies and they still only missed one. so i think italy didn't deserve to win the cup.
