What is your favorite natural feature (be specific) to visit in Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Parks?

I am looking forward to going there. I looked up Yellowstone under questions that had allready been asked and found some great info. Try using the search for questions. I got lots of tips from there and some links to Yellowstone for things to do. If you are going there, have fun, I intend to.

Cascade Canyon Trail in Grand Teton NP. You take the fairy across Jenny Lake and then Hike up the Mountain. Lots of great Views of Grand Teton her self. We saw a moose once too! Lovely weather in the fall and the leaves are begging to turn. Not as congested as Yellowstone is either. I would spend most of my time in Grand Teton, just sitting at the Jenny Lake Lodge staring out the picture window.

My fabvorite natural feature would have to be the upper falls, it is a beautiful site, I actually live in Wyoming and live about 3 hours from Yellowstone, if you are interested I have some photos that was taken last summer, I could e-mail them to you if you want. I hope I was of some help to you.

I love the drive over Bear Tooth Gap to get into the park (last time we were there snow closed the road ...it was mid June too).

Then inside the park I like the thermal pools area near Old Faithful. The water ther is so pretty and inviting. The last time there it was so cold that the steam pretty much obscured a lot of the pools.

Haven't been for many a year, but . . .

Mudpots, just loved the bubbling mudpots. They smell funny, but I love them.

Porkchop Geyser. Don't know if it is still going. These things come and go, depending on changes in the water table and such, but it was like the Energizer Bunny . . . always just going and super loud -- fun!!

OMG, I could live in that place for a year and not see all the things I like even once -- absolutely wonderful.
