Because it is much easier to just insult a person than read the question, see if any answers make sense and (if possible) provide additional information, or another point of view.

That said, liberals are just as good at doing it.
I wish they would separate the board into serious discussions and insult-hurling.

Because they can't back up their own argument with facts the resort to good old insult throwing. They may not be able to poke holes in your argument so they try poking holes in you. Hmmmmm, its almost a form of intellectual violence.
The guy named Nuke_Lefties is a perfect example, he wouldn't take the time to answer your questions and have a rational discourse, instead looking up your old questions and passing judgement on you.

No 1 - They are tired of the constant rehash of the same questions.

Perhaps they are unsure of the validity of their stance and think they can win by being rude. Or they just believe or think what someone has told them to and can't defend their position.

becasue they have no true fact or reason for beleiving the way they do about the topics you are asking. they have heard these ideas on radio or television without coming to a conclusion on their own thought process.
