Mine is the conversation I had with the best guy that ever lived.

The memory that will stick in my mind forever is when I was with my family when my aunt passed. I remember being in the middle of eating, and then rushing up the stairs to be in the room, and hugging my cousin (my aunt's daughter) and watching her take her last breath. That's a memory and a feeling that I don't think will ever escape my memory for the rest of my life.

Being held at gunpoint with my 2 kids behind me for 4.5 hours by their father Richard Harold Akins of Trezevant TN Who judge Ron E Harmon & lawyer Barbara Hobock just gave my son to on June 7th 2006. Just because my son, now 15 was conned into saying he wanted to live w/"daddy" Since then I've had 1 visitation & 4 phone conversations because his dad won't allow anymore. Now the idiot has criminal charges & my son blames me! So not only will that memory never fade, I relive it every day I can't see or talk to my son.

My favorite memory comes to mind when I think back to the first major FM radio station I worked for. That was a killer fun time for me. In fact, my whole career in radio--all the stations I worked for--I've come to have fond memories of.

It was a grand time, when jocks spun vynil records and you had to be on top of the next hour if your show was to really sound good. And the requests I'd get on the phone.......

.....well, those are my favorite times of life.

I have a lot of good memories of loved ones past and present.

However for some reason when asked to remember something two things stick out in my mind more than others...both are sad memories and both happened years ago but I can remember them word for word better than I can remember some conversations I had this week LOL.

The first one happened about six years ago. It was the last conversation I had with my oldest daughters father until VERY recently. I could repeat the conversation word for word to this day...but wont. However lets just say it ended with him saying "Do you hate me for everything I have done to you" Me saying "No but I should" Him saying "Well I should hate you for everything that you have done to me too" and me saying "Tell me one thing I have done to you that you should hate me for" and him saying "Ummm...well...F You and hanging up on me".I knew at that click I wouldnt be hearing from him again. It was a sad end and a new beginning...

The other was with the only other man I have ever really loved outside of my current boyfriend. Like actually loved true and pure...unconditionally. We were at a rough point in both our lives and had decided that we both needed a change. Unfortunately that change involved us going our separate ways. It really had nothing to do with things being bad in our relationship. They werent. In fact they were great. Just things in other parts of both our lives separate from eachother were not so great. We were both moving out of state (different states) and it was one of our last meals together. He took us out to eat and we were ordering our food and the waitress was talking about a promotion they were running do not even remember what it was but it was something with one of the sports teams here. He said that sounds great...but we are moving out of state and not interested in that...when he said we are moving out of state he stopped looking at her and looked me right in the eye with this look on his face...it was just a passing expression but spoke so much...I will never forget it.

My ex boyfriend hung himself because he was really depressed and hooked on anti-depressant. I hadn't heard from him in about 6 months, when I came home to a blinking anwering machine. Instantly, I knew something had happened to Andy, my ex. Sure enough, he had hung himself in the half-way house he was in. They found him barely alive and he was on a resperator. He loved music, especially Phish. So, when I went to see him, they had a CD player in his room playing and the song "Bathtub Gin" was playing. I remember stroking his hair and singing it to him.

Very sad memory, but not a day goes by without me thinking of that moment.

Going to camp in malone and picking blueberries on the railroad tracks, plus Christmases at my granparents house! It was always a big deal!

There are too many to list but one is watching my dad slowly slip from this world peacefully knowing his whole family was there at his bedside. We'd had trouble tracking my brother down and he finally made it home right before dad died.
