I just watched an episode of the X-files where Scully was seeing a doctor for her pregnancy, but in the same episode she asks Mulder to be the father. What gives? I haven't seen every episode before it so I don't understand. Thanks for your help guys!

I know the episode, and I couldn't figure that out either, There must be something in an earlier episode that explains it. I have all 9 seasons on DVD in the mail coming to me now. I will try to let you know once I see them all and understand.

I'm pretty sure it was Mulder's baby. On the show it never really showed them together but it showed Scully leaving his apartment in the morning after getting dressed during the 7th season. The baby was also named after Mulder's dad. In a later episode Scully has to give the baby away because she and Mulder are running from something. I don't know what though. The last episode really didn't tie up any lose ends.

Its Mulders baby. It was revealed that she went to him and they slept together.Thats why the baby was named after Mulder's dad and Mulder's middle name was also William. I have all 9 seasons on dvd. My favorite tv series ever.

I think what a baby would actually buy its parents would be things to assist in worshipping the baby, or things simply acknowledging the fact that baby is tops. So, make a basket filled with stuff like a t-shirt printed with a picture of baby, a good collection of frames with baby's picture already in them, a baby sling, stuff like that. Anything that suggests a lot of ego on the part of the baby!

The father was never revealed but it was heavily hinted at that it was Mulders - all of the fans certainly believe it!

I didn't watch all of them either but I think she was abducted and came back pregnant. Either that or she was fertilized cuz they said she has the new humans the next generation. Scary
