Most people in England didn't like Winston Churchill when he was in Parliament warning about Hitler's aggression..Despite this, he stood up for what he knew to be right, and now is recognized as one of the greatest figures of the 20th century and arguably in human history for the actions he took at the time. Not saying Bush is in Churchill's league as a leader, but I am saying that the threat that Bush is fighting is equal if not greater than what Churchill faced so the comparisons are apt. Ask the American public again in forty years if Bush should have been liked. I, for one, respect the man, and cringe to think what that eternal wuss John Kerry would have done when faced with the problems we face today. I'll tell ya one thing for certain..if Kerry were in office al-Zarqawi would still be alive.
And oh yeah, anyone else think that it's funny that Bush is often compared to a chimpanzee, and accused by the same people as being incredibly manipulative and decpetive to the American people? I didn't think those with chimpanzee brains were capable of such ruthless and brilliant deception to dupe the American public. Make your mind up people!
