It's going badly.
All we have really accomplished by unjustifiably invading Iraq has been to motivate the terrorist to want to harm us more. Not until we get the hell out of Iraq and let their new government control what goes on there, are the terrorist even going to begin to chill out on us.
PS You will find the better answers come last because they are the ones ppl have put more consideration and thought into.

Look at how therandman confuses it.
Using his logic, there wernt any terrorist attacks when Jimmy Carter was president but there was 1 big one when Bush was, therefore Carter is better at foreign policy, right?
To begin with, the "war on terrorism" is about America dominating countries finacially, not "spreading democracy"so the term is a fraud. Many people have had the fear that another attack,if not a full-blown partial invasion is possible. And you know who'll be to blame for that? Bush and Co.,that's who.We have up to an extent created more of the very Islamic terrorists we are suppossed to be destroying.
I could even understand going in if we were out by the end of 2005.But at this point we've been there for too long.Pulling out within the next year is not "cut and run",its using our common sense to know when enough is enough.
Like the voters now know enough is enough of the Republicans.

The war on terrorism is going much better than the media
want you to think. From Berkeley, California to the NY Times,
these guys are just having conniptions all over the place because
they know that just as we defeated Communism in the Cold
War against the USSR we will soon defeat the Islamo Fascist
criminal terrorists. These bleeding heart left wingers are still
reeling from the fall of the Berlin Wall. If we continue to pray
for God's Blessings in the west, we may never have another
attack again. But Prayer is the key.
By the way, please pray for India. God Bless Them.

You are lame. Here's a question that will answer a question - Have there been any attacks on US soil since the war on terrorism began? And no we should not expect an attack - at least while we are in Iraq - right lib? After all we are creating the terrorist by being there. So if we are there - then they can't be here, right lib?

I do agree with your first answer from the rebel, but I also believe that we are in hot water. With the borders being unguarded for so long, there is no telling how many terrorists that have just waltzed across the border and are in the US now, just planning their next attack. I hope this is not true, but to ignore it would be compromising the safety of the public at large, as our leaders are doing now. Can't wait until election time.........

on the early situations of Iraq conflict, should be you could undergo in ideas Bush called the operation as "marketing campaign". in case you know the which technique of "marketing campaign", you extremely make sure the element isn't proper with "terrorism". because terrorism is the element US has been feeding till eventually now. Terrorism has bitten US, so it really is a good trojan to lie to US public and some thing of the international to have a conflict adversarial to terrorism. in actuality it really is a manufactured from twisted minds who're attempting to rework each difficulty to a danger of conflict; so as that; - they can promote and use "guns", - they can benefit administration of "petroleum elements", - they can make people ignore the different complications and picture about some imaginary enemies (that's an inexpensive tactic utilized with the help of each flesh presser for a lengthy time period, yet regrettably it extremely works)

I guess it's always safe to expect something like that, since there's no way to stop all attacks. Hopefully the war in the middle east will take away some of the attention from us and put it towards Isreal instead.

Its going very will despite the traitorous newpapers here and the wailing senators and protestors all of which get plenty of air-time.
If you want to hear how it is really going in Iraq, ask returning soldiers. 1 I talked wanted to go back as a civilian contractor.

I think that just as the 911 passengers responded,so will the American people. At a moment's notice.this is not a land that one can tread upon and not be noticed .We can and will defend our Home Land because we know who it rightfully belongs to. As He Will's so shall it be done.

There is little doubt amongst those in the security business that it will happen. When you think that we are unable to control street crime, our borders, drug trafficking, murder and rape, and organized crime syndicates, then how is it possible to think that we can deter dedicated professional terrorists from doing another 911 or worse.
