If you are looking for an inexpensive getaway, there are 3 to 5 day cruises sailing from Miami, LAX, Port Canaveral, Galveston, Jacksonville, Mobile, Tampa and possibly others. The lowest price I found was one starting at $229 per person for a 4-night Bahamas cruise. Taxes would add about $20 - $40 and gratuities about $40 per person. The fall season from mid-September to early December (exlucding Thanksgiving) is the cheapest. There are also 7-night cruises from $429 (mid-November). Taxes would be about $50 - $70 and gratuities about $70.
You get cabin accommodations (small, inside cabins with no windows), all meals but not all beverages, entertainment. There are shore excursions but if you are on a budget, bypass the shore excursions and just lay out on the beach or by the pool.

i really want to hit up cancun either this year or next.. they have deals (i think it was travelocity) for airfare and hotel.. 3 days 3 nights for around $800.. all-incurred (which means food is paid for during the whole stay)
