the second word was and still is used to insult black people the first word isn't much different. I don't think either should be used by anyone.

It's never OK for a white person to use either one----coming from a white person both are offensive.

N1gga is what one black person calls another, and is done in a funny or "brotherly" way; and while this SOUNDS "funny" to white people, so what? As long as they find it acceptable, its NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.
****** is a racist slur and is never acceptable to use.
It is not acceptable to use because denegrating someone of another race just because they are another race, is just being stupid. Color is not a reason to hold someone in contempt.
I'm gay and call myself "gay or queer or even f ag", why? Because if YOU OWN the word, it can no longer hurt you. That's why. So, I'll be the first to shout I'm queer. I prefer it to gay.

There is no difference except one is more like a slang term. And black people use it in reference to each other as friends. White people should never use it. It's not right for black people to use it either, but they won't get a beat down if they do.

None, nada, zilch, zip, nil. Both of these words are ugly; the argument about whether or not the hip hop community has "taken the word back blah blah blah" is a load of crap. This word, whether one expends the effort to pronounce it correctly or not, is extremely offensive to me, a white american male.

as far as I know, these words have the same meaning, only "*****" is just an accent, the way black people pronounce the word "******".
Concerning whether it is ok or not, I think it is ok for black people to call themselves "******", like when one black man calls another black man "*****" it is ok. But not when white man does so, somehow they consider this offensive.

There is no difference - the difference comes in who is saying it. What color the person's skin is and if they are "home's" or not. The word means the same thing, the meaning is different in different situations.

Its the same word. n-i-g-g-a is derived from n-i-g-g-e-r. If people of color are are offended by the 2nd word, they shouldn't use the 1st.
Gangsta is derived from gangster. I believe they are the same thing.
The word ending in "a" is just an easier and lazier way of pronouncing the original word.

the first is slang
it all just depends on the context - you could use it as an insult or just an adjective, but be careful cuz some people find both offensive

***** seems to be a term of endearment, such as a good friend is your "*****' or group of friends can be referred to as "my ******", the term "******" is a defamatory/condescending term associated with slavery and Jim Crow laws. The latter is unacceptable in today's society.
