I thought the movie was fine, didn't seen much a problem with it. Although it can be compared with Grease. There are few differences, one is budget, High school Musical, had a limited budget, because it's a TV movie. Where as Grease, went to theaters first and had a lot more money to spend with their budget.
So for a TV made movie, I think it did a decent job. I've seen several TV movies, that was just a waste of time.

OMG, I'm 31 years old and I love it. But each to there own, I love grease to but I'm a bigger fan of high school musical, I have a 7 year old who knows every word lol

I didn't actually watch it, don't know too much about it, THANK GOD I'm too old for that s***, but the way everyone talks about it and that teeny bopper Zac Effron on here, is so annoying, so I will say YES I DO HATE IT

YES. I absolutely hate it. The songs and story suck. (The only good musicals are "Grease" and "West Side Story")
