my brother used to go around banging his head into walls, poeple, furniture or what ever. my mom found a small sized football helmet at toys r us. this was about 20 years ago. i was in a toys r us store a few weeks ago and they do have some sporting equipment like football or bike helmets for toddlers. this will probably be a lot cheaper than getting something from a place like abilitations. and i would definitely make sure you talk to his pediatrician about it, especially if he's hitting his head because of a balance problem, not just because he thinks it's fun to crash into the walls (which is very normal for toddler boys..both of my sons and all 3 of my brothers did that)

check with your childs doctor. at this age their learning to walk and learn balance so they fall alot. dont add extra weight its just gonna make it worse. my son hit his head alot when he was learning to walk. dont worry and have him see his doctor they will give you one if they feel its needed mostly likely not
