Wow Rocketman you really show how much you pay attention to History especially since Desert Storm was in 1989, and 1990. Not 79. Bush draft(didn't dodge it like Jr did) Let Sadam go because he knew that this is exactly what would happen. We had a mission to remove him from Kuwait and that is what we did. Upon completion of the mission, the war ended. Jr or Bush light(dodge the draft) Started a completely different war for a completely different reason. To stop terrorism. It's a completely different reason. I am sure that if Bush draft could have known what we know now, Sadam would have eliminated back them.

first of all G H W Bush was not in power in 1979. He didn't have control until 1988 when he was elected as president. Even then, when he did send us to Desert Storm for the first was in 1990-1991 we were in the clear, because if we had waited it would have turned out to be like another Vietnam War. Needless to say, Little Bush is just trying to pick the pieces up of where his dad left off.
Plus if you remember what happened after 9/11, little bush said that he would not stand for terrorism. So, we are defending the rights of those that lost their lives in the towers, pentagon, the plane that crashed in pennsylvania and so on.

Uh....Reds? You mean Communists? Didn't the cold war end in, say, 1991 when the Soviet Union bit the dust?
Besides, George H.W. Bush wasn't even in government in 1979. He was preparing for a run for the presidency that Ronald Reagan eventually won.
