I asked this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ap9uLuDbLsuescyryEDP3mbsy6IX?qid=20060713104110AA19APh and I think Mumbly is the right answer, but I need to hear his laugh to be sure. This is driving me crazy because it's in my head and I just can't remember!

That has him laughing in the themesong,

This is Mumbly

This is Muttley

They both have the same laugh and are voiced by the same guy.

It depends on whether you want the detective, or the one that flew planes.

For me it has to the the classic Tuffy/Nibbles from the Tom and Jerry cartoons, he is just so cute in every single way. Dick Dastardly and Mutley, comes quite close, and so does Tom, Jerry, Quacker, Spike and Tyke (also from T&J).
