Its not always the size...its what you know. How much experience do you have...played youth? The man will seperate the unexperienced from the heard...like a wildabeast...and feast on his still quivering carcas. Can you handle that?
Football...100 percent strength
100 percent experience
200 percent attitude
100 percent whoopa**
You got 500 percent or ya just a big ol' mama's boy?
If you didn't like the answer than you ain't ready. If you laughed and said "bring it on" maybe you can play

If your not lying (Unlike the majority of the people) than why not? But ask yourselves, are you ready for the big jump? If you are than you have to work on weight lifting and getting faster, Varsity requires speed, power, and hard hitting. When I played my sophmore year as a Varsity man I saw guys that were bigger than me and more experienced so I was forced to play safety untill I got my weight up. Take a look at this:
PROS: Good Experience, Bragging Rights, Get Requrited early
CONS: You might get your butt kicked, you might not have all the fundamentals down, seniors and juniors well push you around unless if your a 6'7" 330 Lbs guy.
Overall, ITS YOUR LIFE YOUR DECSION SIT DOWN WITH COACHES AND YOUR POPS AND TALK WITH THEM ABOUT IT!
GOOD LUCK!

YES PLAY NOW

I was about your size when I played and I started for my first three years at varsity linebacker(outside).
If you want to is good advice, I preferred hockey/lacrosse so when the choice came, I gave up football going into my senior year since I was told I had to choose. Do what you love

Yeah you have the size. It will be hard at first because you might lack experince and maturity. You will just need to work harder than anybody. What position do you play? What is your 40 time? What do you bench? What do you squat?
Just remember size alone wont do it for you. You need to work hard in the weight room and and study the game.
Go for it. Its a great oppertunity.

If I was the coach I'd want you on the team. However, I'm not a coach. Play football if you like playing football. If you don't want to play, by all means, don't.

Thats a good size but are coordinated yet. I dont mean to sound rude, what I mean is have your grown into yourself. Do you have reflexes, speed of the game, have you played before?

Do you want to? You definitely have the size for it, but if you don't have the desire, you'll take a lot of bruises for no reason.

Just play. Even if you're younger than them they fall the same way. If you're scared, then don't do it. They're the same as you.
