Depends if its an evening show, or an afternoon affair. By the way, I've seen it 3 times, best musical I've ever seen! You'll love it! Evening, dress, skirt,etc. toss in some sparkle for good measure. Afternoon, anything, except jeans or shorts!

I was able to see The Lion King play in San Francisco. I wore a semi-formal outfit, I made sure it was a little casual. It's funny because this guy standing next to me was wearing a white teeshirt, shorts, and flip flops. I also caught a glimpse of a lady wearing a huge ballgown, I think she was wayyyyy over-dressed.

at present's play crowd would not gown up too a lot. yet i'd easily like to work out all and distinctive gown as a lot as bypass out and observe a play or broadway. positioned on something superb. It would not should be red carpet, yet please take a step up and by no skill positioned on your tshirt, jeans and metallic toed boots. The Lion King is a good instruct and also you need to fall over in extascy after seeing it, talking about it for weeks. And once you go searching you and observe the mad'maiselle in her diamonds and red sparkling gown you'll experience underdressed no count what you wore.

Wear a lion costume and act like you're a cast member and give autographs... you'll love the attention.

I would suggest something semi-formal....but if you wanted to go with the theme or colors of the lion king...I would probably say go with tans, golds, maybe a hint of orange....

I recently went to see "Sweeney Todd" and folks dressed in everything from jeans to cocktail outfits. I wore a nice 2-pc suit and felt a little over dressed compared to everyone else there.
