I live in the Columbus area and we see commercials for them all the time, but I've never actually seen a Sonic!!!

Is there food good? If they are in other towns in Ohio, should I take a drive to try it? :)

There is one in Nelsonville, Ohio. It's about 60 miles away from Columbus. i have been there twice and the food is OK, not the greatest. It's a fun experience though. It's actually located in Hocking Hills area. When i visited Sonic it was because I was taking a weekend trip to Hocking Hills. It's a great area with lots of nature trails and wonderful scenic views.

I would suggest going there for a weekend trip, staying in a cabin, and making a trip to Sonic.

If you go to the Sonic website you can see that there are several more in Ohio. There is one in Athens, Jackson, and Franklin, among other places.

I get annoyed that they always play the commercial too, but I think it's because the Columbus TV channels cover such a wide area.

There is a SONIC not too far from Columbus, drive southeast towards Athens, OH ( on 33 ) and you will find one on the way. It is past Lancaster... its right on 33 near but outside of Athens... by the way I've never tasted their food but it looks good... I believe it is in Nelsonville
