I was trying to re-install XP and when it ask about the partitions I don't have any in the box so I press enter and the screen goes black and I the (BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH) saying something about the setup or something like that. Can anybody help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any way that I can test my hard drive to see if it's good or not. Because I see it when I had to set up the botting to it would select my CD-rom to boot up for tXP

Sounds like the hard drive as gone bad and our computer is no longer seeing the drive is present. That is why you have no partitions available. When you try to proceed, because it can not see a hard drive, it crashes with the Blue Screen.

You are probably going to have to replace the hard drive with a new one.

if you have no partitions set up, you must create one. Read the page carefully, thereis a way to use the set up to partion and then format the drive.
