I think when you are in a hurry you make more mistakes that is why it takes longer. Try not to rush things as you are only rushing your life away and getting stressed while doing so.

THIS IS LONG BUT WORTH IT.

I just read a story about a guy that was stuck in a place that only had rotary phones. He was in a rush to make a call and he was so irritated that dialing took so long, (it was long distance). He was so enraged by the dialing process, he was rude to the individual he was calling. Feeling bad about his frustration, he decided to see how long it takes to dial long distance on a rotary phone, he timed it.

Lesson is we are a sociaty hell bent on immediate results. Faster is never fast enough, it's not even better, it's just faster.

The call took 11 seconds to dial.

Because you tend to clock watch and want to be doing what you need to be doing quicker. Its a mind playing tricks thing. Its the same when I do night shifts and want to get home, I end up checking the time so often that it barely seems to change!

Just had that happen to me during my lunch break. It seems like you hit EVERY red light, and are stuck behind EVERY slow driver on this earth! You just keep watching the time and the more you watch the time, the longer it seems! Hate it!
