Have you taken sewing classes? It will take some time but there are plenty everywhere. Learn how to stitch and how to use a sewing machine. It would be so rewarding to not only design the clothes but to be able to create them as well.
But if you have the money hire a seamstress to help you out and maybe show you some tricks. Is there a freshman that you became friends with that can give you a hand who is good at sewing? A friend?
It's also a good idea for you to learn to sew. Something may look great on paper but wont look all that great once its put together. This way you can experiment and make changes without having to pay someone to sew for you.

Learn to sew. There's really no other way to put it. I know a few professional fashion designers, and they all know how to sew. It's one thing to design something on paper, but if you can't show a completed outfit, you're not going to make it very far.
Do an online search for places that will teach sewing in your area, maybe take out an add in a local paper looking for a teacher. Anything that will get you the knowledge you need.

I was also trying to become a Fashion Designer, but I changed my major to Textile Design. You should start attending sewing classes wherever offered in your neighborhood, Especially if you are a aspiring fashion designer. My school is so strict that you can't pass unless you can sew decently. Buy yourself a sewing machine for home so you can practice. When you actually start your career, people will expect you to sew.

You do the designing, and pay, or have a friend, or anyone sew! I mean after all you still designed it right!? You don't have to do all the work to get the credit. In the meantime why don't you take some courses on sewing, and stitching or whatever. I bet you could learn it if you really wanted to.

Post a memo in the dorm rooms and all around the school that you are looking for a seamstress. I am sure there are students that know how to sew that would love to make some extra money, and get referrals from you. Or post an ad on craigslist.org for your area. Good luck!

You could use a sewing machine and get someone who works with you to help. but dont forget this, anytime you sew the clothing has to be inside out!
