How come everyone believes the US solution is 43642476? There is another way to order the outside lid numbers. If follow the inside numbers, you could say that the first digit of the solution is the 4th number from the inside of box (since the first number on the outside is a 4), the second digit of the solution is the 3rd number from the inside of box, the third digit of the solution is the third number from the inside of box, etc..

That yields: 44342676 as an answer instead of 43642476. Same #'s just a different way to order them. Why would one ordering method be more valid than the other method?

OUTSIDE LID=46446372

I answered 44342676 about 1.5 hours after the site opened. Can't figure out why that answer is not equally as likely to win as the 43642476 answer.

I considered it both ways and thought the way you did it was the most logical. I entered that answer at about 6:30 (had to work that day).
