my 4 year old loves bugs bunny and would rather watch that than any of the new cartoons. also other cartoons like duck dogers and pink panther..... everthing on the Boomerang channel. any other kids? i just think its odd because its not all bright and flashy an stupid like some of the new ones. or as funny.

My kids like them too. I think they like it for the same reasons that we would think they wouldn't like it. They are basic. They are fun even though not as funny as far as jokes etc kids get humor out of crazy things. I work with children and never had any clue that a person coming close to hurting themselves was so darn hysterical until I was in a room of 4-9 year olds. Now mix that with more color and animation and it is hilarious!!!
They can focus on one thing and enjoy the show instead of flashing and lightning and banging on each and every corner of the TV the entire show!!!

I am 57 years old. I LOVE the Simpsone, South Park, Ren & Stimpy. They have an edge the old-style cartoons were not allowed to express. Still, Bugs and Daffy and Porky and Elmer pushed the envelope in their day. The Disney stuff was OK, but what could compare with Bugs Bunny in Drag, or Daffy's attempts to take over a houshold?
Omigosh, yes! I still watch and enjoy.

I watch all the classics and so do my three children (21, 20, 8) and my grandaughter (1) for some reason they like to hear the one liners and sometimes use them around the house. such as when my grandaughter finished her cherioos she says "That's All Folks", meaning thats the end. or when she wants you to move she says, "Beep, Beep. My 8 yr old son has a fascination with the coyote and his building imagination - he uses these tactics to build his own mouse traps. Your 4 year old has great taste and the classics are Terrific!!

Bugs bunny is great, but my favorite is Foghorn Leghorn. I still watch those cartoons.

My favorite are the looney toons with Bugs and Daffy and Yosemite. Don't make them like those anymore.

even as they have them on I do. They infrequently play them because they're no longer "politically maximum proper." i have continuously been keen on Wile E. Coyote & Roadrunner, and something with Taz, Gossamer the bushy red monster, or those with Pussyfoot and the bulldog.
