DREAM ON DREAMER.

2006-07-13 08:06:40 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 2

what color is the sky in your world?

there is no man (or woman) who could so turn things around that "everyone will go back to work and gas goes down." that kind of thinking is utter fantasy. the current administration has pretty much guaranteed that there will never be a turning back.

and look at your responses, there are so many people in america that are so deluded that they actually embrace facism. a little more than seventy years ago another nation went this route and they didn't get over it until their country lay in ruin.

now you want everything to go back to the way it was, but time marches on. literally billions have been plundered from the national treasury. america has gone from one of the most loved nations in the world to one of the most hated. on 9/11 the world wept with us; yesterday those same people just shook their heads. i believe tom wolf said it best "you can never go home."

No, the cost did no longer flow down whilst Clinton grow to be president, it went up. The president would not set the cost of gas, the oil companies do. the sole element the president can do is (with the approval of Congress) placed a cap on how intense the oil companies can cost.

Steven, Nancy Polisi wants to raise Income Tax and Raise the taxes on the Oil Companies I'm sure if the oil companies have to pay more to the government they will run right out and lower prices. Get a grip.

God help our country if the Democommies win. They will not make gas go down in fact it will go higher because they will close even more of the US to exploration.

I hear you, but remember that BOTH parties have sucked up to the oil industry for decades, so there is no reason to assume they will change. However, Bush/Cheney/DeLay have certainly taken the whole "bribed by the oil industry" thing to a whole new level.

Please learn something about economics before asking anymore questions like this. The market sets gas prices not the government. Little thing called supply and demand. Air America isn't always right.

People love to say that libs or dems are going extinct but that is just a political tactic. If you can not kill your enemy tell everyone they are dead and people will start to believe you.
