It could take on average between 1-2 hours. The factors that determine this are:

*where exactly in Denver you are coming from
*where exactly in Colorado Springs you are going to
*time of day
*traffic
*construction
*weather

It's about 60 miles from downtown Denver to downtown Colorado Springs, but it can take much longer than an hour to get there due to major highway construction in both Denver and the Springs. If you're traveling during rush hour, be sure to allow more time if you have to be somewhere on time!
