I write on my calendar when my period ends & comes. How do u keep up with when your next period will start. Do u count the number of weeks in a month, count the number of days in a month, count 4rm the day it ended OR what? So my period will not come on when im out in public. !Get back at me! You start counting on the first day you get it. Count the first day of your period as day #1 and count to 28 days. That should give you a pretty good idea on when you are due. However everyone is not on a 28 day schedule. An average period can fall between 25 to 30 days apart. After a few months you should see a pattern and know what is normal for you.

A normal menstrual cycle lasts 28 days. If you want to make sure that your period is regular, you can go on a hormonal method of birth control like the pill or the patch.

You count day one as the day you first get it. You should see a pattern occur in how often you get it.
