If she hasn't had sex and she is just on her period, and there are eggs that are able to be fertilized, are they still somehow alive then?

Yes, they are alive. They are monocygotes, i.e. they have only genes from the girl.

You are very unlikely to have eggs ready to be fertilized while on your period. generally the most fertile days occur about 10 to 16 days after your period arrives

well, of course they're alive. They are living cells. They arent like little babies or anything. They dont have a conscious but they are still alive. If you cut a chunk of skin out of your arm all of the cells in that chunk of skin are alive....at least for a while.
