probably he considers you to be a good woman and attractive and would like to think if you had kids they would be great, he thinks you would make a great mom.

I'm a guy, and if another guy told me he wanted my baby, I'd tell him I don't do "brokeback mountain".
p.s. Why hasn't he asked for you hand in marriage first, instead of wanting you to bear his children?
Answer: he doesn't plan on sticking around. the child would be a reminder of him for you, that's all....i've seen it before with girls I knew.
p.p.s. you've already got 2 children with your ex-hubby. focus upon raising them properly, instead of bringing in bastard children by your current boyfriend.

Sounds like he is telling you that he physically can't have children... See a GP for options on how you can have children ie artificial insemination...
or maybe he dose not want children... ask him...

It means he is not going to commit to you and is just throwing you a line to get what he wants. Honest men who respected you would not make comments like that. Tell him you would like to sleep with him but cant.
